The 2022 (32nd) Fukuoka Asian Culture Prize Art and Culture Award was awarded to Ms. Shahziaia Sikander, an artist from Pakistan who represents South Asia.
To commemorate this, the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum will exhibit two works by Ms. Shahzia Sikander in the lobby on the 7th floor of the museum and in the Artist Cafe Fukuoka gallery in the former Maizuru Junior High School.
