Artist Hugo McCloud joins Aldrich Exhibitions Director Richard Klein in a conversation about McCloud’s work in the studio and on view at Sean Kelly Gallery in advance of McCloud’s first solo Museum exhibition, from where i stand, opening at The Aldrich on June 6, 2021.
McCloud’s work has been defined by a restless experimentation, an ongoing engagement with process, issues surrounding the value of labor, a concern with disparities in social and racial economics, and an engagement with the nature of beauty. The exhibition, curated by Exhibitions Director Richard Klein, will open on June 6, 2021 and run through January 2, 2022.
