New video and sound art in and on the architecture of the Concertgebouw
A long cherished dream has come true: a new art video by David Claerbout has been added to our art collection. For the premiere of the artwork The Close, Arvo Pärt’s Da pacem Domine will be performed live by the Flemish Radio Choir.
For his Surfaces, sound artist Christoph De Boeck developed an installation with movable hyper-directional loudspeakers that let sound waves collide with the multi-angled architecture of the Concertgebouw.
