The couple Alison and Peter W. Klein have been collecting art for almost 30 years. The collection, which has been successively growing since the end of the 1980s, is an impressive testimony to an emotional desire to see and experience art. The most recent acquisition is Anna Oppermann's work "Ensemble with Decor" (1969, 1984-1992). In his puzzling poetry, the juxtaposition of the Oppermann work as a whole is characterized by the juxtaposition of the juxtaposition. Since the aspect of affection for art and man is characteristic of the Klein (art) company, he became the connecting idea of the exhibition.

The Kunstmuseum Stuttgart shows in a large special exhibition excerpts from the extensive collection Klein. For this, Ulrike Groos and Klaus Gerrit Friese were chosen from the wealth of the artists represented in it - nearly 900 - 29 are selected, which are symptomatic of the collective interests of the couple Klein. In addition to famous, internationally renowned artists, the attention of the collector's pair is also less established and young.
