Candida Höfer, Köln; VG Bild-Kunst, Bonn 2018
The Cologne-based artist Candida Höfer has created 22 works on this project in which she documents her very own view of the Elbphilharmonie. In it, she formulates her individual view of the exposed architecture, devoting herself in her sensitive imagery to the interior and exterior, the structures, materials and surfaces of the newly constructed building. Candida Höfer's meticulous work also explored the origins of the design, captured insights into the archives and the studio of the architects.
