Candida Höfer and Frank Thiel in Travel Around the World

Travel Around The World consists of approximately 400 works by more than 100 internationally recognized German creators, who have represented German art across all continents and show an overview of the most important art movements from 1949 to date.

This selection, which belongs to the IFA collection, consists of the creations of artists such as Sibylle Bergemann, Sigmar Polke, Joseph Beuys, Arno Fischer, Candida Höfer, Frank Thiel, Wolfgang Tilmanns and Thomas Ruff, as well as Cyprien Gaillard. They all account for the political, social and historical development of a divided and reunified Germany.
