Sean Kelly is delighted to announce that Candida Höfer has been awarded the 2015 Cologne Fine Art Prize for her influential artistic achievement. Höfer will accept the award in a ceremony on November 17th coinciding with the AXA Art Preview at the Cologne Fine Art fair.
To mark the occasion, a special exhibition of Höfer's photographs will be presented at the Cologne Fine Art fair from November 18 to November 22, 2015. Höfer’s work is currently the subject of solo exhibitions at the Hermitage, in St. Petersburg, Russia, and at the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, in Beijing, China.
