Formes Simples/Simple Forms

The Centre Pompidou-Metz will present Formes Simples/Simple Forms, a group exhibition from June 13 – November 5, 2014, which will include Anthony McCall’s iconic solid light work, Line Describing a Cone 2.0. The exhibition draws on the senses to explore the appearance of simple shapes in art, nature and tools. This poetic approach is balanced by an analytical view of the twentieth century’s history. McCall will be present for the opening.
The Foundation d’Entreprise Hermès is a joint producer and patron. A catalogue will accompany the exhibition.
En el Camino/On the Road

Anthony McCall’s Face to Face III, 2013 will be shown for the first time as part of a group exhibition curated by Gloria Moure, En el Camino/On the Road. The exhibition runs from June 27 – November 30, 2014, at the Palacio de Gelmírez, Santiago de Compostela, and is connected to the 800th anniversary of Francis of Assisi’s journey to Spain and the radically secular side of his ideas and attitudes. McCall will be present for the opening.
