Sean Kelly congratulates Anthony McCall on winning The American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Art, which honors exceptional accomplishments and encourages creative work. McCall is one of nine artists who will each receive a $10,000 prize at the Academy’s annual awards in a ceremony to be held in New York in May. The winners were chosen from the 37 artists who participated in the Academy’s Invitational Exhibition of Visual Art, which runs through April 10.
