Sean Kelly is delighted to announce that Alejandro Campins' work will be the subject of a new exhibition, City of Queen Anne’s Lace, at Wasserman Projects in Detroit. Curated by Rafael DiazCasas, art historian and independent curator, the exhibition explores the parallels between Detroit's rise and fall as a major industrial and cultural hub, and the impact of political upheaval on Cuba's own growth and development during the same time period. City of Queen Anne’s Lace is being presented in partnership with the Cuban Artists Fund and Sean Kelly Gallery.
