Sun Xun’s animation, ‘Heroes No Longer’ (2008) is included in the group exhibition ‘Nonfigurative’ at the Shanghai 21st Century Minsheng Art Museum. Featuring a selection of paintings, videos and photographs by 58 Chinese artists spanning across 3 decades, the show evinces how manifestations resist as well as interrogate their original defining image.
