Peter Liversidge will make a major contribution to a group exhibition at Whitechapel Gallery in London, England. The exhibition, entitled The Spirit of Utopia, presents a series of installations and events to engage the audience in provocative and creatively pragmatic models for social change. A series of proposals by Peter Liversidge will be on view in the exhibition, many of which are being realized both in the form of artworks installed in the Gallery space, such as Free Signs, pictured above, and as performances and events staged throughout the duration of the exhibition, including the creation of a fictitious exhibition archive and a public comedy night in the Gallery. The Spirit of Utopia will be on view from July 4 - September 5, 2013.
