Mardin Biennial was organized for the first time in 2010, with the aim of transforming Mardin into one of the centers of contemporary art and providing new approaches and achievements to the region through the language of art.
Throughout its 14-year history, it has created a meeting space for artists, art lovers, and art professionals through contemporary art.
The biennial, which aims to contribute to the visibility of the artistic accumulation and production in the region as well as presenting the artists' messages about life, takes place in Mardin's historical places with its unique architecture and culture, as well as in places where daily life continues.
