Julian Charrière in Boros Collection #4

As part of Gallery Weekend Berlin, the Boros Collection will open its new collection presentation Collection Boros #4 showing more than 20 contemporary artist positions. The thematic focus is the "reification of our bodies": in order to immunize ourselves against viruses and optimize our own performances, we permanently upgrade our bodies via artificial extensions. Memories are externalized - stored in clouds - and social interactions digitized. As devices become more humanoid, our bodies gradually morph into technoid devices.

The exhibition includes works by Jean-Marie Julian Charrière, Thomas Eggerer, Cyprien Gaillard, Ximena Garrido-Lecca, Yngve Holen, Klára Hosnedlová, Anne Imhof, Alicja Kwade, Victor Man, Kris Martin, Nick Mauss, Jonathan Monk, Adrian Morris, Paulo Nazareth, Berenice Olmedo, Amalia Pica, Bunny Rogers, Michael Sailstorfer, Wilhelm Sasnal, Pieter Schoolwerth, Anna Uddenberg, Julius von Bismarck, Eric Wesley, He Xiangyu. An accompanying exhibition catalogue has been published.
