To honor the opportunity to present, finally and permanently, the rich cantonal collections, the inaugural exhibition Atlas. Cartography of the gift presents works from the collection in the totality of almost 3200 m2 of exhibition space of the MCBA.
With this exceptional hanging, the MCBA composes its own atlas, establishing a dialogue between works of eras and various formal approaches. Musical atlas, forests or flows, map of the tender, cartography of the pain, exploration of the black: as many landmarks in the discovery of the new exhibition spaces.
