Dorsky Gallery will present, HOMELAND [IN]SECURITY: VANISHING DREAMS from September 7 to November 16, 2014, which will include works by James Casebere and Alec Soth.

The exhibition, taking September 11, 2001 as a starting date, seeks to examine the many man-made and natural disasters that have occurred since then. The artists in this exhibition call attention to a myriad of social, technological, climatic, and political issues resulting from tragic circumstances we experience first hand or virtually through media. It will present images and impressions of natural and man-made disasters, as well as, exploring some of the innovative and thoughtful solutions being proposed.

The exhibition will feature Casebere’s Yellow Hallway #2, 2001-2003 and Soth’s Luxora, Arkansas, 2002.
