Candida Höfer: Memory

In 2014 Candida Höfer spent nearly two weeks working in St. Petersburg and its suburbs — photographing the Mariinsky Theatre and Yusupov Palace theatre, the palaces of Pavlovsk and Pushkin, the Russian National Library, and the halls of the Winter Palace itself. Now, as part of the Hermitage's Year of Contemporary Photography, 25 photographs from this new series will be on view for the first time. For more information, please visit hermitagemuseum.org.
